Montblanc Step Challenge for the NHS

In January 2021 we challenged the KGA Community to collectively ‘step’ the distance from the KGA HQ in Weybridge, up to the top of the Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps, and all the way back again… that’s an impressive 2,186,826 steps!

Our goal? To raise a further £4,000 to reach an overall KGA total of £10,000 for NHS Charities Together.

The KGA spirit united us even though we were apart – there were team tactics zoom calls, fancy dress themes and lots of fun with the competitive energy coming through.

Our WhatsApp group was full of our super steppers posting pictures of their wondrous walks, ‘out there’ outfits and the stunning sights they saw along the way. A huge THANK YOU to everyone for their commitment and enthusiasm, especially in rallying up donations. There was snow, wind and rain however we kept on going with smiles on our faces smashing both our steps and donations target, in true KGA style!

  • 90 volunteers
  • 5.3million steps
  • £10,500 raised (and counting!)

If you would still like to donate, the Just Giving page will remain open.
